Will you walk with someone or walk alone?
62Since I was a kid, I used to go out for a walk or a jog in the early morning hours and sometimes in evenings. Sometimes, I had someone to walk with me and sometimes I walked alone, but still I think walking is not bound to companionship. Though I know it feels good if you have a friend to walk with, but if your friend is not able to accompany you, then this should not stop you from walking. But it is a true fact that each and every person in this world thinks in a different way and what I like doing must not be liked by others, but still I would say that there are lots of ways to walk alone:
Walking Alone To Be Active and Healthy
Walking is a very good exercise and when you walk alone you can follow your own path independently. You can stop by and do your own exercise and do whatever you like. Even the oldest Indian yogis who are said to have lived hundreds of years used to walk and meditate alone. Walking alone gives you peace of mind and you can focus on your exercise routine. Also, if you do have a very dedicated companion, you will not be able to completely focus on your walking and workouts.
Walking Alone For Creative Ideas
If you love creativity, then you may agree most creative ideas are found when you walk alone. This happens because you give wings to your feet as you give to your mind to think from a different perspective. For example, I am a writer and I used to get ideas about writing on different topics when I am walking around. The same can be applied to an artist who is used to walking alone to find unique landscapes for his work of art. You can find creativity while on a silent walk to the city, the nature, the mountains, or towards the people.
Walking Alone with a Dog
A dog or a pet is a very good companion when you do not find any friend to walk with. Some people are so fond of walking with pets that they stop calling their lazy friends who stick on watching TV on weekends.
Walking Alone to the Office
With rising fuel prices and inflation, it is better to make a habit of walking alone to the office at least once a twice in a week. This not only saves money on fuel but also makes you active and healthy.
Counting your Breath to Walk Alone
Sometimes, we desperately feel the need to have a companion who can move out and walk with us but when it is not possible, then the best way to forget that desperate feeling is to start counting your breath when you walk. Dong this gives peace of mind and promotes focus, concentration, or in more specific words one-pointedness. This exercise will also help you remain stress free and relaxed.

Very true, walking does move new blood around in your mind. Many people who are stuck on an idea pace. Interesting thought about artists and creative people walking alone. I know many of the most famous people in art history would go walk for a few days, or walk around with a sketch book. i.e. Leonardo De Vinci, Van Gogh, Antonio Goudi etc...
I tried walking around Mc Donalds Rajinder.ended up putting on four stone. I suppose it depends where you walk. lol

Good hub indeed. But in this busy daily route of ours we hardly get time to walk. And when we finally do get time to walk, laziness creeps inn. Btw! I was referring to myself. Ha!
