The cost of ECU remap in India starts at around 70,000 INR and goes up to around 3 lakhs INR depending on the capacity of engine, level of tuning, and remapping brand. Now, all the three brands mentioned above specialize in different kind of ECU remaps. For example Pete’s is more strong in diesel ECU remap whereas Red Rooster Tuning is a specialist in petrol remap, mostly turbo petrol ones.

Also, it is almost impossible to remap a diesel vehicle with an engine capacity of less than 1500 cc, so forget about remapping if you have a Maruti Swift VDi or a Hyundai i20 Diesel. In petrol, the option starts at 1300 cc and above though it is a known fact that the more the cc, the better the possibility to remap the engine and subsequently better results.
