RC Flying Guide - How to fly radio controlled model airplanes?
79For most RC flying hobbyists, the beauty of their planes lies in its unique structure and design. For a good RC pilot instead, the beauty of a plane lies in what he/she can do with that particular RC plane project. The latter approach is the same for both radio controlled aircraft model pilots and pilots of a bigger aircraft, so the difference between a real aircraft and RC airplane is just the size of the aircraft and the fact that RC pilots remain on the ground, but both these things have minimal impact on the performance of a specific project.
The result is that RC model plane flying enthusiasts are able to build and fly aircrafts that range from Wright brother's initial aircraft to sophisticated space shuttle-type airplanes. In this article, I would give you some general information on how to build and fly RC planes at a much faster pace keeping in mind the safety of your costly plane.
I have written two articles some days back on how to build your own radio controlled model planes. Here you go:
How to fabricate a remote-controlled toy plane for beginners?
How to make a remote controlled airplane with balsa wood and card paper?
After getting through these hubs read on how to fly RC planes....

The first and most important thing for any hobbyist is to get more and more information about the hobby that he/she is going to start practicing in. There are many magazines, videotapes, and books in different languages including English on aeromodelling. For beginners into RC flying, I would suggest first to fly your RC plane using one of the flight simulator software for RC models, which can be easily downloaded from the net or one can buy and order online. RC flying practice software are mostly free to use and include a variety of RC models but for more advanced software, it is highly advisable to buy them online like from amazon or from a RC hobby shop.
Why and how to hire a RC flying instructor?
If you have enough spare money, you can also hire an RC airplane-flying instructor. With an RC instructor, you will learn faster and safely than you could do testing yourself alone. If the remote control of your RC instructor only has a cable system, you can purchase a radio-compatible connection for the RC instructor and fly with much less risk for your plane model. You can find a RC flying instructor easily by contacting with your nearby hobby store or you can also participate in local RC online forums and communities and ask them for any trusted and experienced flying instructor available in your area for teaching you how to fly your model aircraft. With their help, you will be able to definitely find a good instructor who will guide you to learn the basics of RC flying.
So these were some basic things, which can help you in flying your first RC plane. I will publish more articles on RC flying planes in the upcoming days.
Up until then, good luck for the takeoff and flight of your RC planes.

Great hub soni2006!
Sounds fun
This is whole lots of fun :) Great Hub Soni ;)
thnaks for nice ideas
RC flying is been in our family for many years and the experience of the older hobbists pass it on to the younger members. Love your hub.
Have been flying RC planes for years. In some cases they are harder to fly than the real ones. I am lucky to have many turf farms nearby to fly from. It helps to have a couple of hundred acres of smooth bermuda grass to dead stick land in case you have to. Good article!
Very well written article...covers a lot of basics of RC flying... I have been reading such articles to make my own plane... if you guys wants some tips and tricks for making a Radio Control plane in India... check out... www.indiahobby.blogspot.com !
Great article - great subject to write about - loved the choice of photos. Giving this article to my son who loves flying RC planes. Nice style of writing too! A++!
As you know from reading some of my hubs, I agree wholeheartedly with your comments about learning all you can about RC airplanes before you fly. With flight simulators and how-to videos, CD-ROMs and books, there's no good reason to buy a plane and then rush right out to fly it. Besides being dangerous, attempting to fly without adequate preparation is the #1 reason people get frustrated and give up on RC airplanes before they're well-begun. As you say, beginners should take advantage of the myriad instructional tools and resources out there, including and especially certified instructors. Good stuff, Soni--keep 'em coming and good flying!
Very interesting ideas sounds like a lot of fun!
Enjoyed your hub. I used to fly R/C model airplanes. I have also taught others to fly them and that is very rewarding (and stressful) I haven't flown them in a few years though. Life kind of got in the way but your hubs have inspired me to think about getting back at it.
Hi, I have been doing remote control airplanes for over 25 years. I love it when I come across a website like this that a person can log into and get plenty of information about any rc plane that they might be interested in. I have a rc model airplane that is fast and flies great. If you are a beginner you want to know how each rc plane will handle in the air. I would suggest that you spend some time looking around and reading about model airplanes to come up with a fit for you and your style…also be sure and go by the local Hobby Shop and talk with them…will get some good advise there…Happy Flying, Gerry
Here is another good site for you to place on your favorites.
i am so much excited about rc plane but i dont understand how to do

Great Hub Sonni! I'm not much into electronics, but I enjoyed this one nevertheless.
