Importance of diet and exercise
Exercise plays an important role in the life of every individual. Exercise helps in keeping stress off of the body. It also helps in enhancing metabolism and growth. People who perform exercise at least 30 minutes on a daily basis have 5 times healthier bodies as compared to people who never engage in any type of exercise.
Now by doing exercise, it does not mean that you need to do high-impact workouts, as only walking, jogging, or doing warm-ups on a daily basis can also help you maintain a healthy body.
People who do not have time for exercise can engage in activities that are similar to workouts such as walking to the office on a daily basis instead of using the vehicle, using stairs instead of elevators in the office premises, etc. The real idea is to stand up from your comfortable chair and move around for exercise. Walking inside shopping malls for exercise is also a recent trend among fitness enthusiasts. This is also helpful for people who are not able to find a suitable location outside for exercise.
Exercise also helps in weight loss but for maintaining the lost weight, a person needs to be consistent with the exercise regime followed by a healthy and nutritious diet.
Interestingly, it is a misconception among people who think that dieting will help them lose weight. The true fact is that dieting will only be able to reduce fat for a short period of time and when the person will stop dieting, all the lost fat will again get accumulated inside the body.
On the other hand, there are a few people who believe that exercising alone will help them lose weight, but unfortunately this is also not true.
Least but not last, diet and exercise alone cannot help reduce weight but a combination of both diet and exercise can help to a great extent. So it becomes very important to consume a low-fat diet that is nutritious and full of essential minerals followed by regular exercise to lose weight in a healthy way.
