Diet Pills versus Herbs for Healthy Weight Loss

Updated on August 4, 2011

Sometimes, you can find yourself in a situation where you get tired of everything and get prepared to do anything to reach your desired goal. The same is the case with a few people who always feel bad about their increased weight. Most of the people from this group have tried all types of weight loss techniques to failure and have turned towards weight loss diet pills. There is another group of people who are too lazy to exercise, maintain diet, or take steps to reduce weight but of course want to lose weight sitting on their sofas watching TV and munching snacks. This is another group of people that fell in the deep well of diet pills.

Do you know these diet pills are made by people who say that we know the secret of weight loss and sell this to innocent people? As a true fact, consuming diet pills has no results and they are unhealthy form of weight loss plus the person spends so much money to buy them. This is the reason why most online advertisements related to weight loss diet pills are being banned by top ranking weight loss websites. Diet pills have become a new way to mint money from people who can do anything to lose weight. But the true fact about weight loss is that whoever wants to lose weight must keep this in his/her mind that weight loss is not possible until and unless you start exercising, modify diet, and change your inactive lifestyle to an active one. It is for sure that no diet pill will ever help you lose weight and it is not worth spending your hard earned money on these stupid pills.

But the good news which I am going to share with you today is that there are several herbs that can help you reduce weight. According to natural medicine practitioners around the world, there are actually two types of herbs that can be used for effective weight loss. One type inhibits appetite to lose weight and other enhances metabolic rate to accelerate natural weight loss.

CoQ10, green herbal tea, ephedra, and kelp are a few herbs of the number one type that boost your metabolic rate for healthy weight loss. Caffeine is another herb for weight loss but is less effective to enhance metabolic rates. Caffeine is also not good for heart patients. CoQ10 which is usually found in meat is really necessary for our body. Sometimes, our body has below average quantity of CoQ10 present and getting an herbal boost of CoQ10 can help in losing weight. Green tea is another metabolism boosting herb. But a weight loss diet of green tea is only effective when consumed in large quantities like 15 cups of green tea on a daily basis.

Hoodia and fennel have been found impressive for appetite depletion. Fennel is a common herb that is used for general cooking in your kitchen. It also helps in milk production after childbirth, but still fennel herb for weight loss has not been proven as a good idea. Green tea is not a bad idea for suppressing appetite and boosting metabolism. Hoodia is another great herb for thirst and hunger suppression. So it is better to prefer herbs over diet pills for healthy weight loss.
